Information about Internet New Zealand Incorporated.

Internet New Zealand Inc (InternetNZ) works to keep the Internet open and uncaptureable, protecting and promoting the Internet for New Zealand.

Our objective is “high performance and unfettered access for all” so the Internet continues to operate in an open environment that cannot be captured by any entity or individual for their own ends.

We manage the .nz domain name system through the Domain Name Commission, and we own the .nz domain name registry - .nz Registry Services.

We also conduct an extensive work programme engaging with stakeholders and the government on issues relating to our mission.

InternetNZ Election Questionnaire

InternetNZ surveyed all political parties on a range of Internet-related issues ahead of the 2008 General Election.

We developed a questionnaire covering off Broadband, Infrastructure, Digital Divide, Copyright, Cybersafety, Privacy, IPv6 and Convergence.
